Car Dyno'd today Graph post

beleive the car is mapped safely, I also stated that my HT leads are 14 years old along with my Dizzy cap lol so i would have made more but need new leads and a dizzy which I will be getting after xmas.

Maybe Nick can shed some light on the map when hes on next for you guys.:):):)

i think i will go super aggressive.

i been researching hybrid td04's and there seems to be a lot of different things that can be done.

i beleive sacha uses these ones http://www.blouchturbo.com/turbos/WRX_TD04L_19T_Compressor_Upgrade/

after some research, it's possible that better hybrids can be made.

still, it be nice to see what happens when those problems are sorted krissy.

and thats still a nice result for the road aswell

Cheers Fella once its all done it should be around 220bhp hopefully and Im picking my 5e u in the new year so as long as she last until then im happy.

The car has also done 85,000miles lol so again im happy

a, i reading the graph right? thats the AFR on the right?

so what was changed between the two runs? thats shes actually running slightly richer and making more power on the blue one>?

The more power she makes I guess the more fuel that will be Injected, I didnt have her mapped hereI only had a power Run fella too see what they were like for the RR day in FEB im organising.

Maybe Nick Jones or Mike can shed some light on this graph for you ill give im a PM tell him too check it out :):)

hmmm... yeah the more power she makes the more fuel would be injected in theory, but not just by magic it would need adjusted. your playing your boost of against fuel to get an AFR. and im assume that between these two runs adjustments were made?

doesnt explain that it made more power running a richer AFR, unless it was running more boost and slightly too much fuel(or at least a richer ratio) than the previous run.

Very true on the Higher BHP run they did actually adjust the way the Fans were sitting and aimed them more at the airfilter, more Air more Fuel and there for more BHP am I right or just plucking at Straws lol.

Im not an expert at RR's matey so sorry if that comment seems some what misguided;)

Or as Iain just stated the EM systems have a target AFR .

Ill be going back in Fen with a decent Flexi-section lol and new leads and Dizzy etc etc too see what see makes

It was explained to me that the EMU is a very intelligent system and it wouldnt be at all impossible for it to correct itself, as you can clearly see between run 1 and run 2 it has corrected itself and gave slightly more power.

Yes im aware Krissy is using EMB ... but even with EMB it has adjusted itself slightly.

I cant really give a better answer than that as im far from an expert only have a fairly moderate understanding of them just now.

My car increased on wheel and torque figures between run 1 and 2.

The variables are different on how your car reacts on the road and how it reacts on the Dyno, firstly your car isent strapped down on the road for one and also have the weather variables and conditions etc. Sorry if thats stating the obvious.

Still a great result.

Yes matey I totally agree , Im happy anyway I have over 200bhp which is a great figure and its good fun too drive. Rollon the 5e turbo lol:):)

interesting beatz, i think the longer a car sits on the dyno with the fan colling things the more power the car will make obviously there is a point when it will make no difference like the temperature has reached a point where the fan is only keeping the temperature constant.

but throw a car on a dyno give it two runs in quick succession and the second one will give a better reading 9 time out of 8 lol

Ah nice one Chris, fairly good result, definately another 15-20bhp available from those ignition components.

Cheers Ad, yeh my fault about the Ignition components getting some Ultra Blue Leads next month hopefully and I have bought a new Dizzy and Rotor arm today so all is good.

Hows you motor fella gutted about the EMU
