or fit it to starlet along with big fat slick's :haha:
anyway, does anyone know how easy is to fit 4a to a starlet

But the same big fat slicks on an MR2 are going to do soooo much more!

Dunno about putting a 4A into a starlet but i do agree, it would be a worthy transplant.

well i have ep70 starlet with 1e(dont laugh) engine, have two n/a 5e's lying around with loom's, and my old standart(internaly) 4efte that made 246bhp, but no loom for it. also thinking of 4agze in it 2. i just trying to find out how easy is 4a engine to fit instead of 1e, if its cheap enough i will do it, this just that the money is very tight and i'm trying to get best bang out of it as cheap as possible

4agze conversion is not as easy as some people think it is... it is defiantly not a bolt in job. and there is a couple of ways to go about it as well.

if you want a light fwd chassis to put a 4agze into and make a competitive car i would suggest going for an original A series engined corolla chassis. the 4age will bolt in and you will be able to use the e series gearbox which is about as indestructible as a fwd gearbox gets.

Gotta love the banter at the track though, I remember the first time I spoke to Barry in the Silver ECC Civic, I asked him what was done to the car and he said she was standard.

Then I saw him screwing the life outta of a Nitrous bottle cap!
