its slightly higher now and the suspension is set rock hard. you will need to roll and flare the arches and camber the wheels but you will really struggle to get them in the arches, and not catch

forgot to add i already had it running on the 4e markings when i had the 4e head but since i swapped the head for the 5e head it having non of it, can any1 confirm what mark to put it on on the bottom pully? cheers Dean

hey up people im currently finishing building my 5e that im having loads of trouble with! my setup is...... 5e bottom end using 5e pistons etc, 5e head with 4e cams and 4e distributor running 1.9mm head gasket on td04l ........ running 4e timing compression is 130psi over all 4...

im pretty sure its a model 5efe with the fhe rods. the pistons arnt the flat top ones they are slightly raised in the middle i would say around 0.8/9 mm so thats why i planned on using the thicker headgasket. tbh im limited to time to get it ready for jae in less than 2 weeks plus at the start...

basically the guy who did all my skimming re shimmed it to the 4efe spec in his book. just checking thigs because its not running right atall. but noticed the edges of the cams had chips in them? god knows lol il keep an eye on it

still no joy tried running no fcd, with fcd used another map sensor but still no joy? rotar arm and dizzy are mint leads etc are mint timing is spot on but is just sending the plugs black also idles fine as soon as you rev it just missfires and pops and bangs? gettin so fed up with this car...
