    Hi, From Japan!

It looks like gas in Japan is: Regular-90RON and Premium-100RON. Hope that helps.

    Hi, From Japan!

Thanks for all the welcomes, and sorry about the octane. I had planned to go into town today, but ended up building a cabinet instead and just after I finished my new rims and tires showed up so I ended up installing those instead. Then I had to wash the car. I then had to clean out a place to...

    Hi, From Japan!

Shakken is a type of inspection that is done every two years. It sounds similar to MOT. I did my roadster last year and it cost me about $400 to do it myself. Handing it over to a shop would have cost a lot more. Most of that fee is weight tax (sperate from yearly car tax). Mods can definitely...

    Hi, From Japan!

Kind of. It has less to do with miles and more about the year of the car. Basically as the car starts getting older the tax you have to pay on the car every year gets more and more expensive. You also have to do shaken every two years which is quite expensive. Older cars will require more parts...

    Hi, From Japan!

It's a 99 Glanza V (I think) with manual gear box. It has about 100,000km on the clock. As far as gas, I don't remember the octane ratings, but I'll check the next time I go fill up.

    Hi, From Japan!

I'm using the lowest octane (regular). This is our commuter car, so like I said, I am actually slowly taking the parts off rather than trying to make it faster.

    Hi, From Japan!

I don't know what they go for in general, but not that much. I paid about $1,400 USD for this one. You could probably find them on both sides of that price.

    Hi, From Japan!

This is the only photo I have at the moment. This was before I got the car. The eyelids are now gone as well.

    Hi, From Japan!

Yes, it has a performance cat, full exhaust, an rx7 modified intercooler, and a bunch of other stuff. Glad to hear that it is okay at those pressures. I usually run it at minimum boost any ways. The person who had it before me had been building it for about 8 years, and has kept it in great shape.

    Hi, From Japan!

Had a friend who recently moved away and didn't need his car anymore, so I took it off his hands. It's a 99 Toyota Starlet Glanza. Has a ton of mods and I also ended up with all the old parts as well. This will be the wife's car, so I am slowly putting it back to stock. So far this has meant...
