what do you mean by switch off ? as in switching the engine off ? i think my fault maybe the same as yours but it wont go that much fuel on idle anyway

yea the leads are all secure and clipped in i will put a new set of plugs in and see what happens rep added mark an dan cheers

well i had a look at the plugs and its brown colour. also had a check at the leads they seem all ok and secure no visible damage any ideas on fault ??
