the starlet sr came with 15's and a 45 profile tyre, offset was 39. so thats probably best, lol but ive used 50 profile tyres cos theyre cheaper, or were at the time, however i think you should use whaterver looks best on your car, the ride height and wheel make a difference. personal preference

correct, i find that as soon as the box has done a few miles, 80 - 90k upwards they prefer the gl4 stuff, it shifts a million times nicer :)

differentials transfer boxes and axles use gl5 rated oil, like usually 80w 90 or stright 90. gearboxes with synchromesh like gl4 rated stuff. thats a fact. go check it out, i know toyota say gl4 or 5 but putting gl5 in will give you a really crap gearchange, it mite be fine when the box is brand...

make sure you use gl4 rated oil and NOT GL5. gl5 ruins the synchros, always use gl4!!

these dont have a gain setting. they have a offset mode, which is what u need to use, see if u can find the Offset in the instructions, i cant remeber off top of my head how u get to it. but i know u raise the number or lower it till it sets the boost where its showing it. are u sure u arent...
