damn fuel filter is giving me nightmares it refuses to come off and i ended up rounding the bottom nut so i just stopped put the top line back on and am going to let a mechanic with more patience than me deal with it! thanks for the replies by the way.

sorry if this is in the wrong section but i need a pair of window regulators for a 1995 ep82 (elecric window) and am just wondering if there are any other more common starlet models (like one they have plenty of in second hand parts dealers) that would be a direct fit?

removed that panel today, the bracket inside which the bottom bolts screw up into was mangled with rust not overly sure where the water was getting at it panel mustnt have been sealed properly maybe although its the same story on the other side, no rust on the door or anywhere else at least...

theres a noticable gap between this panel and the door which obviously shouldnt be there so i presume theres just water an dirt leaking down and then gathering at the end of the door, just this outer part though, ill remove em the weekend hopefully there wont be too much damage i have a feeling...

so just wondering about this went to take them off today because there seems so be a world of rust an dirt built up inside. theres 4 or 5 bolts on the under side of the door that need to be removed but there just twisting and not coming out surely due to the rust, anybody have a problem with...

only got out to the car today and lo and behold it was just the alternator fuse gone. dont know how i didnt notice it before! changed it started up (after priming) no problem. thanks for the ideas lads sorry about the waste of time!

hmmmm i dont think think its the battery cable or earth wires anyway i cleaned them and still nothing. ha yes battery is on the right way around! any ideas?

so the car has been parked up close to a year without being started, got a new battery today and just threw it in a minute ago to see would it start up but i got nothing? gonna assess tomorrow when its not so miserable. might it just be the battery terminal connections there a little bit...
