Just as i thought i had found the reason for my idling problem, i went to start the car to see what's what. When the car didn't turn over i thought it must be the battery even though i bought a new one not long ago. So i charged the battery but now it is the same when i turn the key you just get...

ye man i think its just down to me being a total amatuer, thats me just arrived back in shetland where i go to college so for now the car is sitting in my garage in nairn i only get home for a weekend at a time so tackle the problems and never get too far, but its not far off ready for its mot...

also newmacher is a shortish drive from my home town so if i have anymore problems i'll definitely look you up mark as no garage around me are too familiar with these wee cars.

ye i had leaks when it was idling at 4000 but had them closed and its down to 1500 but the thing is im a total amatuer enthusiast and dont actually know how to adjust the idle?

i dont think its uprated, the pedal is just very hard to push down and when you release it engages instantly without much ability to control it?i've tried releasing slowly but its too difficult theres no biting just engages really fast maybe it needs a new one the one on the engine didn't look...

i just put a new engine in my starlet and the clutch is definitely not right, the clutch pedal is hard to press down and springs back up very hard. is this because the lines need bled? or could it be, because i used the old clutch that came attatched to the used engine i put in?

i just put a used 30000 mile engine into my ep82 and its idling around 1500 rpm how can i reduce this?
