Quest a quick question, my bottom end is knocking like f#%k, so I'm guessing it's the big end shells, if I just replace the shells, and grind the rods will it be fine? Or other parts will need to be replace? Or just get a new engine? thanks.

Hi all, I'm looking for a engine to replace mine, as the bottom end it's gone. I'm not too bother about milage, as long it's in good conduction. I don't need the turbo, maini, downpipe etc... Just the engine. But I do preffer to be a 82 instead of 91 but any thing will be consider. Or even just...

Finally the car its back from the work shop, find out it was the piston rings that are worn. so had them changed and the car run sweet, no smoke no misfire... but have to take it easy at let the ring settle in first, before i start boosting :)
