never expose somethong that is frozen to quick shock of heat like boiling water you will cause stress on whatever ur trying to defrost which could then cause hairline cracks and all sorts of problem let it defrost in a cntrolled way aka put it in a garage overnight

yeah my rad froze but didn't burst i put coolant n after flushing it like 80% anti freeze in this weather it don't cost much anyway

im a mechanical engineer use tools everyday and from the experience i gained i think halford tools are shite they can last a long time or not and when they break they will try any excuse to avoid giving you a replacement if i were you i'd spend some extra money and get Teng tools they are they...
