best timing to run
Gidday all, just fired up a new motor in my ep82 with td04 on 10psi combo. Just wondering what's the best timing, I've set it on the 10 mark and runs sweet without missing but got a big event coming up and want it on song. -

Why are there 2 cam dots on my SOHC 2e-telu??
Ok, so after putting an ep71 back together (I got it in parts) I cant get it to run right. To get the idle down and to make it run, I've had to screw the idle screw in all the way and fully retard the timing and it's still idling around 1000rpm! I set the cam up with the 2e hole on the cam gear... -

Confusion about cam timing on my 2E ? ? ?
Does anyone have any info on how to set the stock cam on my 2E-TELU ? ? I put the crank at TDC on #1 and fitted the cam gear to the cam. On the cam gear it has 2E and 1E positions on it, with a little hole through it, which i am guessing is so you can line it up with the dot on the head...
