Yeh Cusco Mz LSD but i could still get 2.0 and 2.1 60ft without LSD last year. That was the first time i have tried this setup so i am hoping to get my 60ft times down to 1.9.
You done very well with your time mate.

Yeah I did constant 12.5s mate @ 110mph with the blitz k24 holding 1.1bar. At the moment its slower though due to a heavy rollcage due to the sprint event rules and big tyres. You'll definetly get mid 12s with a bit of tuning mate

Yes it sure would, and there would also need to be a good supply of driveshafts, gearboxes, engine mounts and CV joints. lol
Thats the only reason i havnt gone for full on drag slicks yet, just road legal radials.

In my opinion it goes-

1) Shakespeare
2) Pod
3) York

I'm surprised you have rated Shakespeare higher then Santa Pod, personally when we last went to Shakespeare I found it a dump site and poorly laid out.

I think with Santa Pod a few years back it was not the greatest, but since some investment has been made in and around the strip, it's a lot better now. It's good to see some money being spent on the venue really, for too long it was run down.

Was good to meet you kingy and thanks for the tips and advice, let us know when your heading back to Pod, I might have a few more bits done by then.

As mentioned in another post I ran a 15.5 and next time looking to get into the 14's with a few more additions.

Kev - i rated it higher on the basis that you can actually get on shakespeare strip better than pod. i went to pod about 4 or 5 times last year and each time it annoyed me. One time we queued from opening til closing at 8pm and only got 4 runs in all day!

They dither about too much. They never open the strip on time and i hate how they let the motorbikes push in at the front very unevenly (dont even wait til all the cars queing have come back round again) You just sit in your car bored and worried about your temps lol

At shakespeare yeh its not as 'fancy' as pod but whilst queuing you get to watch the drag's coz your right next to the strip and they just get you on there quickly. But none of them are as bad as York :p

Yeah that's a good point actually about Shakespeare when your in the que, at least you can watch the 1/4 mile runs. It's shame you can't see anything at Santa Pod in the que, especially when you can be stuck in it for ages! lol

I've found at Pod if you get there about 8-9am, sign on and get in the que, I manage to get about 3 runs in before it gets busy, managed 10 we went last Saturday, but after my 3rd run I was waiting a while to get back on.

Everytime ive been pod ive run the 1/4 but it litrially is an all day queing to get 3/4 runs max, and that means striaght round from finish to start again. if your going there for a meet purpose its pretty good but for drag purpose its not worth the journey.
