The will look great, but might perform poorly... I had some 18 on my GT they looked great but rubbed like crazy... BUT they were only on my car because I was not driving it at the time(driving other car), I only knew it rubbed when I drove it to the car wash/gas station and back.:ep91: look=great, performance =poor, wheels= your preference

hope you like the math:rockon:

Do you have pics? i never saw a starlet with 18" only 16";)

IMO 16in is the biggest it should go, but its entirely p to the owner, i thnk that 16in fills the arch perfectly. Again everyone has there own opinion but i know 17s for me is out of the question.

15" is the popular choice for many good reasons. (handeling beeing the main one)
17" is too big for such a lil car

if a new member came on here saying he had 18" alloys everyone would slate them this is what i dont understand its one rule for one and another rule for others :s

just do what you want mate its your car your rules :)

if you looking for facts mate, 17's will not do your handling any good. However, the right wheel would look really nice in 17's. So do what makes you happy. :)

i found that with my glanza that had bumper extentions 14" were too small didn't try them but you could tell. 15" is what i had and they were nice and obviously optimal performance wise. But 16" would have filled the arch better and made a good compramise. 17" would deffinatly be too big and would mean you need stretched low profile tyres and the arches rolled and liners removed.

I like the 17"s on my car .....they look nice only if your car is slammed and kitted. They will also eliminate all that spinning on 2 bar on a Gt28rs turbo at 345hp.15" will keep spinning as soon as boost hit them. But I will be going 16X7,5j on my new project.

On a glanza its obvious they can pull it off... GT's IMO cannot.....

16's is what im running at the front and soon rears too...... 15's/16's is perfect.... 14's are too small imo

what i was gonna say ^^^

14's are way too small for a Glanza, a little on the small side for a GT.
15's are the best compromise between looks, price and performance on both cars.
16's are great on the right GT/Glanza, perfect for bigger brakes and big power.
17's are a no no on a GT, look great on big kitted Glanza (but need the power to compensate)
18's on a GT - whoever attempts it should be shot, can look good on a Glanza such as Enzo's

Have 16's with Toyo Proxes 40 profiles fitted on my GT, car is stock standard, wheels look huge, and dont get traction in the wet...

Will probably go back to 15's as 16 inch tyres are horrendously expensive :|.
