Hey guys! I'm quite new to the modifying world and not long hang my glanza. Love it! I want to get it to 200bhp and at the moment it's near enough standered apart from straight through exaust. What is the easiest way to take It up to 200bhp? Without spending a hell of alot of money?? Thanks dudes

i got mine to 200.

parts were

hybrid turbo
airfilter relocation
full exhaust system
decat
elec boost controller at 1.2 bar
hks actuator
sard ecu
sard FPR
uprated intercooler
better dump valve

ur gna need better spark plugs and leads too. i used ngk heat 7's and magnecore silicon leads


its not a cheap figure to achieve. unless can buy the parts used off here in the classifieds.

great fun tho at 200 ish

Ahh right!! Yeah u bet mate. If I was to start with just getting the hybrid turbo. Do I need anythin so I don't put too much pressure on my engine? Or is it ok to just have that to start with? And how much are they? Cheers.

yea unfortunatley its not cheap, but if you do it right and look after your car it will last years and be a great amount of fun.

the intake on the hybrid is larger. on the tong turbo(which i had) it was 55mm intake so will need a intake pipe. will then need to find a way to route it to grill. ppl have done it with aircon still in however i did the easy way of removin it.
really need a uprated manifold if go up boost past stock as the standard one is so restrictive in runner 3. will cause a bang at sum point.


tong turbo is located on uksc (ukstarlet club into google) think they about 475 or u can take ur standard one off and get it made into a hybrid at some places

If fitting the hybrid on its own don't turn the boost up or you could blow your engine-it's been done before, I'd do all the other mods first then the hybrid last along with a remap.

If i were u mate i would spend some money doing a bit of work on the brakes and handling. If you dont then the money u have spent on making your car 200bhp will end up in the back for someone elses car.

Lol. Yeah I have a few mods to handling and brakes already mate

well pretty much, just got an exhaust system which is pretty fucked, a decat and a fucked jperformance manifold and an airfilter. im gonna sort it all out though :)

but whats weird is that it boosts at about 0.9 0.8 and thats all that done to it, well from what i can tell lol

when get a decat on it can sometimes cause boost creep so thats possibly the cause. or so ive been told

what harm would it do with standard spark plugs and leads??
