3bar map sensor

If you have Datalogit, you can use a GM (Part# 12223861 set scale to 44442 with a offset of 260)


that gm part number is american


also the 3 bar greddy map sensor does NOT read the full scale, it's not plug and play, the guy who tuned mine wasnt so good.


and the mr2 sensor reads up to 1.79bar

on the fc-datalogit software, when you choose the sw20 map sensor option, is that for the rev3 map sensor (1.8bar) or is it for the 2 bar map sensor?

gotta be the 3 bar as otherwise it wouldnt be any better than the gt sensor

im going to find out. going to get one an see. the impression i get is that its the 3 bar (or 2.8 bar) one

why did you not use the GM map sensor on yours ricky? didnt think it worked or something?????

the guy who tuned it decided not to, and he had a greddy one floating about, and the plug was the same which saved him cutting and joining new wires.

except the greddy one dont really work to well.

ah i see. i rang fensport today and they tried selling me one as i wanted an mr2 rev 3 or st205 map sensor and they didnt have one.

i posted up on the other thread, that a gm 3 bar sensor can be fitted, and i posted the settings that needed to be inputed into the power fc to work.

it's that or the apexi 3 bar sensor now costs just £101 delivered from japan

hmmm. tempting. just trying a few other places then may go with that.
an mr2 or gt4 one would be great as it would just be plug and play

oh right. didnt realise they had the same plug. like i said. will try for an mr2 or gt4 one as im sure they will be cheaper 1st then just go with the apexi one otherwise. is that what your getting for yours?

yeah i'm fed up of fannying around, so i just gonna bite the bullet
