something just crossed my mind
could you check to see if your clutch fork is keeping any noise?
a while ago the back of my clutch fork was dry and it made noise while driving...i had to end up trying to drop a little oil through the rubber boot at the top of the gearbox to lubricate the back of the fork where it pivots on the gearbox (metal/metal contact)
Thank you for the suggestion. I could try that. The main noise is now are the knocking rotation noise on Ido that feels like something that is off his position and stops making noise when I push the clutch pedal.
The other noise is a higher pitch metal noise knock that happens when I accelerate and drop the pedal.
there is also another noise when I move the car and reverse gear with the wheels completely turned. It’s a lower knocking noise that seem to be the drive shaft spheres.
The question is how could it be possible that all these noises happened together. It all started with the lower knocking noise while I was getting outside the garage.
I also found an audio leak underneath the clutch slave pump. I cleaned it and after a few days I found oil again going down on the gearbox bell housing.
This whole thing made me spend money.
I bought a ep82 C52 gearbox, SKF drive shafts, genuine clutch release bearing, fork screw and rubber cap.
I could’ve bought the same C150 gearbox inspected for me for about €720. I bought the C 52 instead that was not inspected for 500 pounds plus shipment from the UK. Reading around and watching some videos I found out that the legend that the turbo gearbox is stronger isn’t true. The gearbox has problems with the third gear and it isn’t invincible. The C150 that’s basically the same gear rates besides the first gear and some people used it driving 300 bank horsepower. Never blew up. I would have never changed it if it wasn’t because I want to put a LSD in the future. There is no kit for the C1 50.
