Loads of these have been done. Search the forum for a few of the build projects. You'll find something for sure. No need to re-invent the wheel telling you what to do when all that has been done already.. :)

By the way, if i just decided to maximize 4efte and retain my 4e block, what brand of internals should i get? Ex. Forged pistons, con rods, ect... that can take 25-30 psi if possible w/o the fear of damaging any and can be use as a daily driven car... also, what max whp can a 4efte make? Planning also to put a td04L 16g on it.. Really appreciate for your inputs regarding this. Thank you

Good choice of keeping the 4E. Brand is all down to personal preference because all those that offer forged items for the 4E seems to be pretty good. I have used Wossner pistons with Scat rods without any issue. With a PROPER (correct tolerances/specs/balanced) and CLEAN rebuild you should be able to run 25 to 28 psi with no issues. I think it all comes down to a really good tune regarding reliability. You could build a very strong engine and put a bad tune on it, you can count it wont survive. And i think you would need a bigger turbo other than the TD04 to reach 25psi. This forum has allot of info on builds and what they have produced regarding power. Search and read allot and you will find and learn allot

Many thanks on this.. What turbine can you suggest instead? Bigger turbine means a lot of lag.. Apologies for a kind of newbie question. Thanks again

If you have deep pockets than something like a GTX28 series turbo. If you want to run big power you have to sacrifice a little on the lag. Decent head work could help keep the lag on a fair scale. Something like a TD04 (which by date is still the mostly used turbo for a mild street/strip car) could produce @ 200 to 230hp well tuned with stand alone engine management.
