air bag light situation

alright lads put the car throught mot there but i hada refit my standard wheel to get the air bay light working as it should. as i had a race wheel on but now i wana refit my race wheel again so if i fit it what about the air bag light what does all yous boys do????

do a search on it mate. basically you have to trick the abs system into thinking the airbag is still fitted. essentially you link the plug with a resistor of the correct size. measure the old airbag unit in your original wheel to find out what resistance you need.

As part of my job I've seen airbags deploy so as I said to you before Andrew I'm very wary of working on them. Incredibly dangerous if something goes wrong.

And knowing my wiring skills it probably would!
