Thanks Akki, was great to do business with you.

Car looks great. Pickup at the airport was great. Saved me a lot of time figuring out busses and stuff.

if they have literally just been in before you bought itthen yes, thats probably when they aremost likely to go if they arenot run in properly. but if they have been in for a few thousand miles and all oil levels etc are good then no they definately shouldnt. How have the pistons and turbo managed to go at the same time? Has something come through the compressor wheel perhaps?

**EDIT - Im to slow** ^^^^^^^^^^^^

Ask for a receipt for the work carried out. That would then tell you if it has been done or not.

you will have to find out if the car has been bedded in or not. If akki has no receipts then he cannot sell the car as freshly rebuilt(im not taking sides here just my 2p) also if it isnt run in fully yet then you shouldnt be taking it into higher revs and no stop start journeys ideally, this should have been explained when you bought the car if this is the case. Are they forged pistons? aftermarket turbo? has it all been mapped?

I think they are substancial claims you are making.

If you choose to speak about this in public it would be useful if you gave all the info such as what the traders response was when you brought this to their attention, what warranty you got with the car etc.

We have had other traders on here sell cars and had engine failures and have had people blow engines right after they have built them so thats not really anything new.

Do you have an unlimited warranty etc which covers the engine?
