Ouch, at 18 - this was back in 2006 btw, I payed 1k with Bell.

on a 1994 Starlet GT with my mother as a named driver.

Insurance companies are probably cottoning on to how easy it is to extract power out of these cars and the fact they are becoming more and more popular.
