and just would like to know a way of another way of getting around fuel cut.
cheers jay.

Fuel cut is there for the safety of your cars engine.

The best way to get around fuel cut if you wanna boost higher is to get a piggyback or stand alone ecu and get it all mapped correctly for your car. Depending on what boost levels you wanna run this may also require some sort of additional mods to aid with the fuelling.

my car will ceratinly be mapped,
got prices for it of the guy,
checked them out and seem to be good guys.
what is the fuel cut off point?

as my plan is to boost to 12psi,
then get ecu and it mapped to 1 bar.
of course i would get a fuel pump, and fuel pressure regulator,
anything else?

RRFPR, new exhaust manifold and sort the breathing out mate. this should see you ok

ps. id probs get an aftermarket bov to stop compressor surge.

ive got d-cat, and exhaust. also induction kit
just the manifold and fmic.
also have got an khs actuator waiting to go on,
really i want to run .8bar for the time being,
which should be ok?
when does the fuel cut come in i heard it was around 13psi?
is that correct?

i think jay just means fuelling set up with the rrfpr mate, on a wideband rr

thanks tom,
thats what i mean by mapping,
i know the standard ecu cant be mapped,
but i only want and intend to run .8bar maybe a bar in future,
so dont intend to get a ecu,
just want the fuelling once get supporting mods done,
to be as good as it can be.
just wondered about fuel cut, becuase i hate, electronics.lol
looks like i have to get fcd if i decide to got to 1bar.
so fuel cut is 12psi-13, then i should be ok,
when setting actuator to .8bar.

no worries like.

hate electronics? friikkin x2!! hate em lol wires fucking wires lol

should be able to pick one up cheap mate, theyre not that much considering everything else u gotta get to run a bar safely :)

no offence taken, i know cars well, not electronics, or ecu's so
it was a general query, but cheers for the answers tho.
if i was to go above 1.bar lets say hybrid,
then ecu and new injectors certainly would get.
but atm, i want .8 bar, and sure everyone understands about
getting fuelling done best as can be,
as i want my starbo still to be as reliable as it has been.

you need a piggyback ecu then get it mapped thats the only way too go,,,or just get the good old push bike you wount need a fcd for that
