I beleive changing the bell housing on toyota gearbox is really quite involved!!!

unfortunately the boxes are not marked up. I havent a clue how you are supposed to tell which one is which. It will say on your vin plate what box you have/had fitted but thisa is no good if you wnt to buy a box!!

levin BT20v 6 speed wont bolt straight on, its from a 4AGE so again needs the bellhousing changing.... This will probably be the box i fit as finding a 6 speed is near impossible... So ill just import a 97 levin and use the gearbox from it haha

haha LOL. but there sureley are some scrapyards that have some g6 corolla's around here they do have some boxes but they are quite expensive.

bellhousing changing isnt that difficult from what i have heard, could be wrong though

too come back on the topic title. I believe the C52 box is the standard gearbox that was on the glanza.......... and that is the same gearbox that is used on the Blacktop 20v so the 6 speed Blacktop box should fit straight on.

I heard this from a guy on our corolla forum who also wants to swap a FTE in his corolla :D

not quite correct mate... sorry!

Glanza V had C56 which yes is same gearbox as a BT 5 speed.

EP82 has a C52 which is same as many 4AGE (ie like my aw11 mr2) right up to the ST 20v.

But while the gearboxes are the same model, they have a different bellhousing to suit whichever engine it is intended for.
