Any Ford Escort Guys? Need Some Advice? + Pics

Hey Guys. Just wondering what yee guys might recommend? :)

Along with my Starlet, (Which I prefer in everyway) I also own a Ford Escort. We got it about 4years ago as an extra project, myself and my brother bought it from my friend which he previously modified.
With no Tax or Nct on the car we kept it off the road and tipped away on it oursleves with any free time we got, replacing panels, interior parts, seats etc...

Anyway after a few months my brother moved out of Ireland so unfortunately we lost heart in the car and its been Idle ever since in the garage gathering dust. :(

I was wondering if yee guys could help me out as Im not to sure what to do with it! Its sitting there now but Is it worth it to keep and hold onto? Or would it be worth selling it and how much would it cost in todays market?

I honestly don't know anything about Fords so need all the help I can get!
I tried posting in one or two of the Ford forums but didn't get any help at all. :confused:

The car was originally a 1.3ltr 3dr Ford Escort but was converted to 1.6 Rs-Turbo. It was fitted with a Full Wide-Arch Cosworth Kit and resprayed in Pearl White.

When we bought the car it came with this spec list:
Ford CVH 1.6 Turbo Engine Conversion
Garrett T3/4 Turbo
Cosworth ECU
RS Fuel Management ECU
Bailey Dump Valve
Rs Intercooler
AVO Adjustable Coil Overs
Walbro Performance 255 Fuel Pump
Blue Samco Hosing (Intercooler, Radiator etc)
Pipercross Air filter
Full Custom Straight Thru Exhaust

Full Cosworth Brake Conversion,
Drilled and Grooved Discs c/w Cosworth Callipers (also for rear)
Braided Brake Lines

Leather Bucket Seats
Boost, Water and Oil temp gauges.
18'' Hijon Alloys.

We got a mechanic to fit a New Front Window, Powersteering, New Steering Rack, New Altenator and Central Locking/Elec Windows.

So guys thats the car, unfortunately, Im not a Ford guru so I don't really know if any of the modifications mentioned above are good etc?
All my extra cash is going into the Starlet so basically Im not too sure what to do with it as its just sitting there for a long time now and I said I'd post it on here and get some ideas and what yee guys might think or recommend? :confused:

Cool Mark. Thanks for the reply. So you think I should scrap it?
Maybe take all the parts off, sell what I can and scrap?

Its just sitting there for a long time now so all opinions welcome!

it wont increase in value, but is worth something, a lot of work gone into that and imo looks quite nice,

it's not gonna be lightening quick though, but it'll still pull well :)

fix it up and sell it, or fix it up and enjoy it

i was joking .get it up for sale my mate had exactly the same car and got real good money for it.:) with alot of intrest .but his one had a brand new engine/turbo and was mot'd. if that fails then break it

there will be a market for that, especially as it's turbo, put it on piston heads, people will be all over it!

Thats looking nice (love my ford's) i would try and sell it as it is...

Im sure there is some one out there that will buy it, try some of the ford web-site's to gather some interest...

luks sweet real cosworths go for over 10k in gud nick n are lik gold dust shud of kept as a sleeper n id of ad it :)

Some really sensible options mentioned.

Think I'll just throw it on Piston Heads and Autotrader and see how is goes from there.

I honestly don't know what to ask for! Any ideas on a price guys? Maybe 1900euro?

Nice stuffs in there huh? I personally like to have the 3 parts there. Bailey Dump Valve, Rs Intercooler, AVO Adjustable Coil Overs. I don't need them right now but I feel like, I'm gonna need them real soon.
