changed the rubbers in the master cylinder n still niggling.

are their any uprated master cylinders that can work?

eg. from off a newer car? runx, gt corolla? anything like that?

You shouldn't need an uprated one mate unless the orignal is buggered or you making a pedal box what problems are you having?

I had the same prob with Act xtr4. Problem solved when i change the whole clutch master. Before doing this try different fluids to fill.

i can get into 1st gear quite comfortably but it won't go into any of the others.

and the clutch pedal doesn't feel as stiff as i think it should be.

you should never change into first gear until the car is stopped, the syncro isnt made to do that, i believe! check your fluid if it doesnt feel stiff enough and maybe you just need a new syncro in the gear box

check your master cylinder and your slave cylinder properly......they may be scored and a small leak/bypass in pressure

i'm assuming the clutch is properly installed and lined up and u had no gearbox issues before
