Put it away for a month and drive something else. Then get it back out and go for a spin. That will relight your fire.

Ive been driving mine nearly everyday for 5 years and there are times when I think "Why did I do all this?" and "maybe I should get something else"
But then I go on holiday or something and get back in it and think "This is brilliant!"

Kinda like having a girlfriend and going through tough times. Seems like loads of hassle and you wonder if its all worth it. Then you break up and are single for a couple of weeks then think "Shit i want her back." Lol.

Occassionally lose the love for other peoples but no regrets with my own so far lol.

It's the same as any relationship as Nippon says. The grass is always greener!

i prefer to put it in crude terms...

being with the same woman for a long time even if shes great in the sack, sumtimes you get a bit bored and wna go out and hump some other random girls.

but you may well then want to come back to your woman when u miss how good she was.

same principle applys here.

I'm sure everyone thinks this at times, especially as they are getting to that age where a lot of things deteriate and need replacing.
The first one I owned, I drove for a year without really needing to do any maintance but my recent GT I have had for 10 months and over that time, its been of the road on several occasions as I had to renew suspension, mounts and service parts. I do want to get rid of it when things keep failing, but hope to stick with it til everythings sorted.
Saying that I went out to it last night and someone pulled up and said that if I was ever thinking of getting rid let him no.
I know before even selling it I will have another one which hopefully wont have to be so compromised to deal with daily duty.

I lose interest all the time, I just roll it into the corner of the garage and roll it back out when the urge comes back, had mine mapped about a month ago, it broke on the way home and ive not drove it since.
