What's the use for the afm? Won't it run just off the map sensor?
I'm pretty sure it can be anywhere before the throttle body Mark, the closer to it the better as the ecu will then get a better reading of what's going into the engine, ie charge temp and density.

Aint the flow meter ment to be on the intake side ? Not the cooler pipe ?

no, it wouldnt get the true air flow through it,

this is an ecu modified by a starlet specialist in japan (for the life of me i cannot remember but they are really famous lol) think it was originally meant for a 200sx or something along those lines,

a very rare bit of kit, works just as well as the official apexi ecu,

there is no benefit to an air flow meter or a map sensor just a different way of reading the air flow

The VHRF was meant for the MR2 SW20 turbo and modifed to fit a starlet :) well thats what i was told by riko666 many years ago

Its suppose to be installed as far away from the heat source as possible so the AFM receives a true reading, if its installed closer to the heat source i believe the sensor fluxuates more.

This piece of kit is designed to run the AFM. It was pure luck that i managed to source the AFM as i purchased the VRF PFC without it and its the genuine Z32 AFM also that was used in Japan.

You are perfectly correct in saying that the closer it does so the throttle body the more accurate it becomes. It is going to be sold exactly in the pictures with the Samco hoses also that we had to get made up because of the size difference in the intercooler piping and size of sensor. The Samcos in the picture that where including where £45 each also.

Spot on Ricky :) thanks for this! Works just aswell as the preasure sensor PFC and only took Russ 30-40mins more to Map it then my preasure sensor one.

This one came from riko666.

HRF is the name your looking for ;)
Can this run multiple coils and ignitors? Ie coil on plug.

I couldnt answer this, mostly because this is a rare piece of kit and i dont think its even been thought or tried of using this particular generation PFC.
