ARB clearance with WL ALK

I did have a chat with the guy about it and I totally agree with him. He's put id down as front ARB distorted and rubbing on both front lower arms.

The problem being is the ARB can't really do it's job properly when it's contacting the lower arms where it shouldn't be.

Well, I've got some plates in there now, It's far from ideal but now there is clearance between the roll bar and lower arms. It was a bit of a rush job so I didn't manage to get any photos, but I will be revisiting again over the weekend after hopefully getting the car through the MOT as I need to change the front bushes on the lower arms. The TRD bushes are complete toss.

I felt guilty for not posting photos, so just went out with the camera and led on the floor.

The plate fitted above the ARB mount:

The clearance I have now between the ARB and lower arm, before fitting the plates the ARB was touching the bottom of the lower arm:

Did it eliminate the knocking?

There's no more knocking, creaking or rattling, plus the front end absorbs bumps a lot better. The only annoying noise I've got coming from the car now is what I believe to be the exhaust banging at the back when going over hard bumps, apart from that it's a million times better. :)
