Not really fair slagging people off on a public forum when the guy isnt here to defend himself.

He has lots of pleased customers, including myself and I have been going for over 2 years.

Lets just say there is 2 sides to every story eh.

And no, I've spoken to him...doubtful he will be back as a trader here but is till open for business. You can probably see why.

the last time i rang pete about an engine rebuild, 1st of all the guy didnt know what a glanza was :S and then he said that he doesnt rebuild engines, he just strips them and send them off to get built. i dont get how people say he has lots of experience, unless he was chattin it with me

Please bear in mind that slander can result in a lot of hassle lads. Even casual digs can land you in court so please keep comments clean.

Gilly - I haven't heard from Pete in a while. Certainly nothing about bringing his forum over from the old site which is unfortunate.

thats right mate...he doesnt build engines at all. And Gee i hope all goes well for you...and as for court action Jay...i would be more than happy to go to court with him....i have proof and evidence of his and the engine builders shoddy work and also have the backup of a few other very well respected members and traders. As for him not being here to back him self up.....i wonder why . . . . .

hes very good at fitting intercoolers and exhausts....but thats about as far as his expertese go in my opinion.

I'm sure there are far more satisfied customers than unsatisfied.

He has built loads of Evo engines up himself, been there numerous times where he is in the middle of building blocks up etc.

Anyway, I'll leave it at that. I'm sure he'll come across this thread one way or the other to post his own comments. He's posted on this new forum already.

I hope my forged build goes well for me too! :D

I refrained from dealing with him when i had an Evo a few years back, heard a few stories on the Evo site that were negative. But, i have heard more good than bad.

As Gee and others have said, Pete and the boys are a great bunch and the workmanship/customer service they've given me and others in the past has been second to none. Theres not many so called specialists, if any that allow you to stick around, and watch step by step, at the work which is being caried out to your car, and working till all hours till the job is done correctly and your happy enough with it. Hence why hes one of the only guys I trust to work on my starbo.
