Bad seller ... question

why cant he just claim it and give you the cash?
it annoys me at how lazy people can be.:mad:


What annoys me is I can't place the claim, it has to be done by the seller who already has their money and doesn't really have to do anything....:mad:

It's poor that despite the courier company admitting that they lost it, the seller hasn't given you your money back, and persued the claim themselves. When I sent a carbon bonnet to someone, the courier 'lost' it. I sent another one immediately, and got the money back from the courier. If I had waited until I got the refund from the courier company, the customer would have waited 3-months.

Have you asked the seler for your money back, or have you just accepted that it's been lost, and are just awaiting the seller to be refunded before you get your money back? Remember, if you don't ask, you don't get...

Just spoke to the courier again .. they sent out a claim form but the seller hasn't returned the claim yet..
 
I dont understand why you cant claim for it because the Post Office told my mate who got scammed on ebay that when he put the iPhone in a box and posted it it was no longer legally his it was legally the person he was shipping it to.
So technically the product that was posted is yours as the package was addressed to you.
Im probably wrong but thats what they told him.

I dont understand why you cant claim for it because the Post Office told my mate who got scammed on ebay that when he put the iPhone in a box and posted it it was no longer legally his it was legally the person he was shipping it to.

I wish this was the case and I could place the claim, at the moment the courier is telling me the responsibility is with the seller.

Joking aside I've claimed via both previously and there are time constraints - if you aren't quick about claiming they can walk away from responsibility.

Very grown up approach on this one Gryzor! The seller really needs to give you an update on the claim status. Once they do that then hopefully all will be okay.

Sometimes things go missing unfortunately :( but as is always the case communication is key. Send the seller a PM with a delivery report on it and if he reads it and doesnt get back to you within a day mail admin@toyotagtturbo.com with the members name and we will have a quiet word on your behalf.

Funny man :p They're DPD and I know it's usually a month with most couriers, but they have been very considerate so far... at this stage its not the money.

will do cheers Dylan, the funny thing is it wasn't just my parcel that went missing, the delivery guy disappeared with all the parcels.... :rolleyes: yep he did a runner with the van etc... "postal" i think the term is... :eek:

I have had compensation from the post office after an item i sold had been damaged in the post.
not exactly a courier, but i refunded the buyer out my own pocket straight away and waited around 3-4weeks for the PO to refund me.

After a couple of emails to the courier I received a form of declaration this morning, there may be hope yet. :rolleyes:
