Brick?

Most cars use Resin, i not to sure about the EP's but i guess so.

If it is, yes the seal can be re-used if its not damaged in anyway

You would have to heat the glue up with a hair dryer for a while for the seal to come off.

Hope that helps,
Dan.

I would ring autoglass and have them replace it. After all. Windscreen is a major safety feature at the end of the day.

DO NOT use a hammer, a sledge, a grinder or your feet to remove it. It is laminated and will only crack. I've set a Glanza shell on one and it stayed intact.

You will be finding glass shards for years afterwards.

Get a local windscreen fitter to call in and cut it out properly mate, worth every penny.

By not breaking it is the key.

You can claim via the insurance for this to be done for £70 (including the cost of the new windscreen).

I pay a small excess around 30 euro say on my policy and windscreen cover is free. Have had two heated windscreens replaced on my mondeo for free and they even call out to the job to do it.
