in braking force johnny the twins are a lot better then the stock single, and fade didnt happen around brands hatch in a 20 min session on track, as did before with stock calipers and yellowstuff pads, so the twins fade a lot less with their blueprint pads in.
now guys braking torque which equates to how much power the brakes can generate, was recently calculated on an all-trac owners site in the US,
and the single later spec st185 single which is 57mm piston does generate more force then the previous twins, but only by 2.4% over the st165 twins.
now also when i read on this site they spoke about fade as well, and these guys have tried both etc and found thet fade was very minimal between the pair.
now the extra force of the 185 single is down to the larger discs n diameter 277 which has a slightly larger pad surface area.
st165 twins can be found on early uk spec celica gt4's st185 upto 1992 i think maybe 1991.
it took me two months to reaearch both set ups and learn bout them, any questions then please do feel free to PM any questions.
