the celica st165 twins are under 15's.
and defo tend to dafe less then stock even with uprated pads in terms of pedal travel.
and with thicker discs used for these conversions, tends to help with fade as well due to heat transfer.

diesel version matey i think.
make sure has a 60mm bore in the middle tho pal, some have 70mm u dont want those.
but if go astra route get a spigot ring made to suit, so it all fits tightly.

st165 are pop up dude, altho were on st165 the early editions as well.

i think st165 twins is 2x 38mm piston
st185 single 1x 57mm piston
standard starlet 1x 46 piston

hope this helps more people for sure.

stock brakes are not that bad at all.

most people have half seized fucked brakes and they change to a set of new uprated brakes that make a massive difference.

alot of the time just servicing the stock braking system will make as much difference.

Got to disagree with you there, I checked the pistons last month and they were really smooth in operation. The fade i got was enormous, Since putting these on you can hammer it all day and they dont fade one bit

Tbh, I dont think you need a spigot ring if you get the 60mm ones, i only have a 3mm gap from the hub wall to the disc

only going by someone else who did the st185 swap fella he advised so.
thought may as well add that in so peoplesort of have more info if you get me.

agree about fade due, my calipers OEM, were good, but since doing the celica twins, fade is a lot less,
dont forget guys, the brakes we upgraded to are designed to stop cars at least 300kgs heavier...

one thing to add, the st185 has more pads options but mintex do a set for the st165's jus ring them and they should help you out.
fensport sell redstuff pads, but these need tad bit of grinding as they are from an imprezza, which has similar sized twins...

You really do need that spigot ring or else the disc wont be centered correctly. I WOULD CONSIDER IT DANGEROUS IF YOU ARE DRIVING AROUND WITHOUT A SPACER!

the mintex site is dire. i couldnt even find that number.

bollocks to a one off set, would probably be extortionate. could be worth an ask though i suppose.

the 1144s would do me fine though. let me know if you find the number for them.
