black water from piston 2

chaps,
ive always had an issue with moisture coming out the exhaust and now i think ive found the cause.

i not so long ago started messing about with the exhaust mani/decat setup and noticed mositure in the no2 piston.

i looked the other day and have noticed it spitting out from the no2 piston from behind the gasket:

i dont really see a cure for this as i believe this is a crack in the block, i take it the only solution is a block transplant?

Never seen one crack there but stranger things have happened I suppose. Could be worth taking the manifold off, checking the condition of the gasket and checking if the flange is flat. That way you'll be able to assess the state of the head while you are there although if it's in pieces it may not all go back together again..

Does the moisture go away quickly after being started or is it constant? Does it taste sweet like coolant?
