You can also put duck tape round half the filter so it don't suck in as much air which should also stop it, if the EFI pipes a pain to get back on =D

TUT TUT TUT!!
Alot of information given here is wrong.
Personally fuel cut isnt as violent as some people are making out.
Just to say (even if it isnt fuel cut).
It sounds like boost creep resulting in fuel cut. Putting a RRFPR and FCD, will cure the fuel cut, But the boost will still creep..Therefore not fixing your problem
The best thing to do, is to take the turbo off, and have the Wastegate Ported.
This combined with a well matched intake pipe (size wise) should eliminate boost creep.
i get no engine light on,and when u get fuel cut doesnt that light come on
Think so, yeah.
But if it was fuel cut, you should hit it and then be able to continue up the revs and rebuild boost! Also, is it always around 5k?
I'm not giving bad advice, I just don't think its fuel cut - if I'm wrong, fair does!
i took my front mount air filter off!!! and the car running fine again!!!!
Some bad rep should be given for trhe first few posts in this thread!!!
Its not fuel cut because I am having the same problem, its boosts to half a bar and then just drops back into vacuum!!!
Checked everything because we removed the hi/low solenoid and thiought it was that, will removed the filter kit now see if it cures it.
Why would the relocation kit CAUSE THIS THOUGH??
