another attempted theft yesterday..
The little ballbag got 100 hours of community service and was told to pay me £200 damages in the end. He'll do neither so as far as I'm concerned the courts do not work.

What has revived this thread is this little treat I found yesterday after work:
Yet another attempt which has proved one thing - If you are leaving your car anywhere take two minutes to remove something vital. In this case the steering lock was broken and barrel forced. The only thing stopping it from being taken was the 60 seconds I spent after parking it up. Forget your alarms and immobilisers, this simple measure will make all the difference.
Just need to fit a door and a steering column to get her regal again.
