i need desparately to change my brakes on my ep81 4efte converted starlet,as far as i know the front brakes are the oem ones and in a very very bad shape and broken too..so i was wondering if i buy discs and calipers from a gt will they bolt on or do i need to make any conversions? any other toyota brakes that will bolt on directly? i've read about celica gt brakes but it is extremely hard to find some here so please if someone could help me out!! :)

starlet ones bolt straight on mate.

unfortunately there are no other direct bolt on applications from other oem sources

as above. if you fit GT or glanza calipers, discs and decent performance pads, if the rest of your braking system is good then the braking should be fine for a midl modded GT under most conditions.

definitely a step up from knackered n/a brakes :)

There was a version of the car with different uprights that didn't had the mount for the gt brakes. Just look on the current brake setup and check if the caliper mount on a caliper carrier and then to the upright. If yes, then go on. Otherwise you need the gt hubs also.

really? GT brakes and n/a brakes have the same mountings from the ones I have seen.

also i wanted to ask if the hydraulic steering from a ep91 n/a or glanza will work on my gt? i found a whole system very cheap and i'm thinking of getting it,original my car is the 1.3 xli. i have also found a complete abs system from a ep91 too..does anyone know if they will bolt on directly or with minor conversions??
