Looks fairly sturdy compared to the ZEP-inspired stuff I've seen. If anything is going to make a difference it'll be this baby.

jay, can you let me know whether this would fit a mk1? been looking to get one for my mk1 for ages but know one seems to know if it will fit or can supply any pics of how the ends attach!?!?

Without three-point rear seat belts (after further research this seems to have been an option on the early mk1's but standard on later models) there are no mounting points for a C-pillar bar. I'll find some pics to demonstrate asap.

this was what i believed. but on coochys white GT (which was a mk1???) it had one fitted!?

just wondered if there were mounting points behind the plastic c pillar trim?
