Car wont run longer than 30 sec's...

I looked at the fuses changed it and still same when have jump leads on it run's fine minute i take them off the car dies?? think i may just go buy a new altanator?

Was the fuse you changed blew? if so check it again to see if there is a fault somewhere thats causing it.

It does sound very like the altenator from that post.

Yeah i checked again and it hasnt blown i put a new altenator in it on sat and yesterday i put a new dizzy set of leads and new plugs and re earthed the batt and still the same.. if i leave the leads on for a while then it runs for a good bit longer i dont no what else to look for im going mad!!

jesus this seems a pure balls,espically after replacing everything, it seems the battery isint holding the charge, whats your battery connections like? are they good and tight? any corrosion? it seems its something simple.

Yeah thats what im starting to think is it just a connector thats disconnected or something, i dont think its the batt cause the same thing was happening with the old one! and altanator and so on i think im going to have to get someone to come out and help me cause my head is melted..

This is a good one now alright!! So with a new battery, altenator and altenator fuse the car is still stalling after a little idling.

Has the battery voltage improved any with the new altenator, running and not running?

Sorry i lost this post, it turned out that a wire in the loom had broken which wasnt giving the altanator any power.. i left it to a garage and this is what they had told me..
