This would allow potential buyers to have a look at the mot work and hopefully stamp out dodgy sellers.

Its really upto the buyer to do it, I don't think someone selling the car should be made to give that info, if the buyer is really interested they can ask for the information themselves from the seller.

personally i wouldnt say all of it but certainly put the latest one up there, or put the details for a buyer to check the info.

But they cant. They need the MOT issue number or the V5 document number to do it.

I realised that when I tried it myself, hence the edit. I still think its upto the potential buyer though, if they want all the info such as that, they can get the details they need from the seller by asking them and check themselves.

I wouldn't want to be forced to put up all that info about my car and I don'thave anything to hide, but would be willing to give it to a genuine buyer.
