brake efficacy
now that we are talking about brakes, can i throw a spanner in the works and say that bigger brakes don't necessarily give you shorter stopping distance. they for sure give you more efficient brakes in that you don't have to work the pedal as hard and they may fade way less but the overall stopping power boils down to your tires & your road surface -- softer compound tires & of course good tarmac always gives you the best results.. so at times having the biggest brakes is not necessarily the best idea, esp for our smaller lighter-weight cars.. anyone with me on this..?
