Similar insurance to a GT Turbo, reasonable running costs, nice interior and reasonably quick (not quite as quick as a standard Starlet in a straight line) but handle really well.

Get a Sera! They're the nuts! £3,000 will get you pretty sorted as well...

The best Seras sell for plenty more then £3,000 - it'd get you a mint Phase 1/2, a reasonable phase 3 or a Turbo Sera with at least 50,000 miles on the clock. The last couple of times a 4EFTE sera has been on sale it's been around the £4,500 mark. Mind you, the turbo ones are so rare it'll probably be ages before another one springs up...
