Congratulations to Gareth “Spuddy” for setting a new record of 11.94 to take the title of fastest FWD time set in Ireland in his ECC built and tuned Starlet. He also done a 12.00 and two 12.08’s.

Due to grip issue’s we could only run 1.9 bar which is a lot less than the normal 2.65bar and were struggling for grip in 3rd gear even with the huge drag tyres.

Quick video of one run.

Next stage is better clutch to handle the extra power its getting and a bigger exhaust housing to allow higher RPM as we had to limit it to 8250rpm today as its building up a lot of back pressure above that.

Well done Spuddy and ECC!
11.9 at a track that sounds just as bad as crail is seriously good!

Every high powered car up here that has went to pod knocked about a second off there times. Roll on the 10s or even 9s:rockon:
