i mostly agree with u mate

i think there should be some sort of devision or section of the police that a there to test people before they drive. I on many occasion have thought about going over to a police officer and asking them to do a test so that i know if im fit to drive or. I never have one drink and drive but sometime if u are leaving ur car there and gettin a cab you get bored and just wanna go home and u have only had a couple. it would be a useful thing

how much would it cost the police force to send a unit out to breathalise someone? and who pays for that?




not driving when you've had a drink is your responsibility, if you cant handle that responsibility, you shouldnt be allowed to drink.

you shouldnt drive when uve drunk anything atall imo, ure just testing fate, drink affects people in different manners, some might be able to have 3 pints, some maybe just the 1.

if youre gonna walk to the police station, might be a different story, but seriously, to ring them up, get them to come to you to breathalise you?

thanks for wanting to waste even more of the taxpayers money lol.

and getting fined for drink driving works both ways, you think shit, im not gonna do that again, and all the people that dont drink and drive and pay there taxes dont have to pay the coppers to chase some stupid ass down and nick him.

even going to the police station, is still a waste of my taxes.

let them do there job. the preventative measures are substancial enough as they are atm, the dont drink and drive advertisements make it pretty clear. wasting police time shouldnt be an option.

There's every chance that he doesn't care what other people think, and therefore posted his opinion.

Personally, I think it should be down to the driver to make the decision. You can just imagine the amount of calls that police would get if requested breathe checks were allowed. It would quite simply be turned in to a drinking game at parties... Who ever was most over the limit wins.
