Corolla 4EFE with crank sensor?

I'm charging another detonator at the minute..

I have a 4EFE to turbocharge and the engine I've been given has the weird ignition system with crank sensor and funky coil packs.

It's the first time I've had my hands on one like this. Any thoughts on using the ignition system with the 4EFE-T / 4EFTE or is it too much hard work?

I'm guessing this is just a 4e version of the one that is mentioned in this link. Don't see this build going as far as engine management so I'll ignore it and stick with regular ignition for now.

thats the setup we use to megasquirt our 4efte jay its handy also is using that loom then the simple way is to wire in a bleu on the stock loom and map it

Too much hassle on a stock application then, will ignore it just!
