they are a trader on UKSC - they did a group buy at £350 per turbo i belive.

price is around £420 now i think.

Yeah they did a group buy a while ago, i think its around £400 per turbo

i updated the original post to show where each turbo is avaible from, plus rearranged some info

Firstly, nice idea Jules. The info choosen isn't the best base to work from but the idea is solid. I think the feedback so far shows this.

Generally I try to make the 'King' threads as un-biased as possible with bare info and as little direct advertising as I can get away with.

Maybe a re-edit on the initial post would eliminate the criticism or perhaps someone could offer a better writeup?

maybe just pics, tech specs and dyno printouts in this thread will be sufficient. then have peoples opinions on each turbo if they have them fitted to their car?

This information may not be of the utmost accuracy but its the most collective piece of info on the various turbos that iv found on this site.

We should all help contribute and make this a sticky which has ACCURATE information.

I am more than happy to write up a detailed description on each turbo, and to get pictures and results from people that actually have them fitted.

Ill leave the info there already in place, until i have written the other description!. give me a day or 2
I am also more than happy for people to pm me, with various details on the turbos, or pics etc

Am Using Tong Turbos CT 9 Hybrid I can tell you this is Great difference in power and Torque I have no lag at all and great top end speed am boosting 1bar with FPR set 3.1bar /FCD/ Oem intercooler/ apexi N1 copy exhaust/ autobahn mani/ CT 9 GT spec hybrid no air filter I really feel the power in the wheels its pulling hard 2500rpm and 6000rpm you get another boost and Rpm raise like you are accelerating on standby.

i would do a write up but without knowing the compressor sizes and designs, wastegate sizes, bearings and other internals, shaft sizes or cutback angles its impossible to give accurate for and againsts of each turbo. ie, the tong turbo one has a bigger compressor intake but whether or not that means it has the best matched, or even biggest comp wheel is hard to say, as the others could have a simaler sized intake obtained from boreing out the compressor cover internally or using a compwheel with a bigger base. thats just an example but it shows the point.

also not knowing who built them or what specs they are balanced too doesnt help either.

the only way this thread can be accurate is for people to post power results and experiences based on using each turbo...or for the traders to give the full specifications of there turbos and the parts used...and the later aint gonna happen! lol

RR's would have to be done on the same technology rollers aswell, as we know some read way higher than normal.

anyone knows how I can buy the tong turbo? I`ve registered on UKSC but cant post there.

Also did anyone use the speedvision hybrid after the turbo had been rebuilt and sent back to you? what are your conclusion about it?

enzo is also a member here (here the guy you need to speak to, admin from uk starlet club and of tong turbo's) he will get you the turbo :)

from the tread...ther are one or two members running speedvision's hybrid now for 1-2 months with no reported problems ...so it seems to be going well now...some positive feedback:)

Looks good till now. Now we need more feedback from those using rebuilt Hybrid speedvision's turbos please as im interested to running one in the near future!
