CV Joint?

i dont knw if this is in the right thread or not ... but hopefully someone could help...

just recently iv noticed a knocking noise, especially on over run, whn I get the girlfriend to drive the car slowly and i walk beside the wheel, it sounds like a clicking noise, but a knocking noise when im inside the car, does this sound like a CV joint? or driveshaft? or any other possibilities?

It's very hard to say mate. If it does fail then your wheel bounces down the road in front of you. :eek:

Having said that I did a full 10,000 miles on a clicking one in my last auto..
