i hate the feeling that im thrashing the car, i tend to feel like this when im late for work!

would rather be driving a wee diesel crapper to work and then get into the ep afterwards! but i would consider a auto gt for work if i could afford it, fresh standard suspension....lovely :)

i use it to get to uni and to work everyday....love it but i just hate the fact im racking miles up!!

I have no proble using my starlet as a daily driver. At the end of the day its economic if driven right, and if I am late for work, nothing a bit of help from the loud pedal cant sort.

My only beef is that its not comfy for motorway driving

Had mine for ten years now. It drives everyday 110 miles back and forth to work minimum. I put it back to stock due to the gas prices here in Jamaica and it made me realise how great a car it was stock. My female passengers do complain about the stiff ride, and I have a few rattles here and there, but great.

I keep occasionally thinking my cars a bit annoying as an everyday car, since it is set up pretty stiff, stripped out, noisy and the harness's are a bit of a pain.

But when driven sensibly its not really that big a deal, I'll get something faster and more expensive to run as an everyday car soon!...:p

Doesnt bother me in the slightest.

I run the Starlet through the Summer / good months, then buy another car for the winter / bad months.
But if there is a good day through the winter, the Starlet will get a run, if there is no work getting done on it.

Best of both worlds.

emm i fealt the same but having thought bout it more, im not so worried about the milage, or what it does to the value of the car in other peoples eyes, i think i'll be keeping her as a hobbie long after she dont do the daily commute! :)

it'll all be good. im not dreaming of an evo etc at all, just a great ep82.

i dont have the money for big jap beasts so i think sometimes a limited budget helps keep the interest when things are unattainable.

for example if i had, white advan rg's forged engine big turbo big brakes and a super handling setup wide and low with a spanking respray in advance colours fresh stickers and interior, id be bored next month/year probably.

having wrote that list in telling myself that i couldnt possibly get bored if i had all that, but truth is i probably would! :(

On D2's hardest setting use a and B roads every day to work and back brilliant if I didn't have the starlet I'd never get to work on time lol... Since fuel prices dropped I have considered but only considered getting another Evo but the thought of 25mpg and below scares me ! mmm LPG conversion!!!!
