Damper or Mounts?

Hi all,

Looking to get either an engine damper or uprated mounts, but I have my fpr where the engine damper would go I think? What are the standard engine mounts like? Any info is a bonus.

Hi Mate,

I have an Engine damper and TRD engine mounts. I had the Engine Damper before the engine mounts and my standard Engine mounts were broke into 3 peices yet the Engine damper held the engine together prefectly for 5 months untill i fitted my TRD ones. IMO i think go with the Engine Damper as it is cheaper alternatively if you have the menoey the Engine mounts will be a good investment, however if you Standard mounts are in good condition then i would get the Damper foresure.

Aye I suppose I could mount my fpr where you have mounted yours, does it rattle much being cable tied up there?

No no vibration at all.
