haha... yeah the 10mins was a bit of A dream lmfao! i wish some1 would make a tool to get that damn efi pipe of i would pay big cash for that lol! so i finally got the efi pipe of and ive took the seal out of it so i am going to mesh that after having a damn good look and a lot of cuts on the knuckles...its not worth trying to put the relocation kit on lol! so if anyone needs one or some top quality heat proofing give me a shout lol! but yes ive read a few threads and heard that the mesh of a like kitchen sive would do the job??(or something as fine?)and also while deep down in there i found a leek of power steering fluid :(...its dripping of a long bolt thing with a nut on the end? anyone no why this would be never notcied it before unless ive cought it while wrestling with the efi pipe tonight?

sausage splatter thing/

why arent you putting the relocation kit on mate? gotta be the easiest thing in the world to fit

...as i got told by a reliable source the more air the better..? ! ..

find out of that same reliable source what does he actually mean? does he mean the more air you put into an engine the better? Ask him did he ever hear of the word LEAN before!

the biggest advantage of relocating the filter to the front would be to get cooler air

Re-locating the air filter to the front is the most noticeable gain I've done to my EP82. I wasn't hitting fuel cut before I modified the intake, but after I was once in a while. Threw on a Greddy BCC and everythings dandy now, with loads of fuel still.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like pics on my install, I used vacuum hose.

so how exactly are you getting fuel above fuel cut then?

personly mate, if you've got a front mount kit, i'd fit it, you'll be getting colder air and better filtration, just meshing it you are going to be sucking in alot of hot air.

have you still got air con?

ime afraid so mate ..thats why i had to build this filter custom...thats why its so hard to fit its just to smaller gap to fit the fucki**g thing in with my hands trying to hold it on aswel it would be a nice upgrade but just not got the time to fit it..so i de-heat proofed it and i think ime guna just run a much smaller feeder pipe to it instead..
