Starlets have to be a little lower than stock. Otherwise front geometry is badly affected.

Raise it so that when on ground the shock is 1/3 of its usable travel compressed.

Also be sure you assemble the kit correctly as in the pic I see a plastic washer for the spring just slid over the shock body...

for the damage to the rear tyre,

you need to fit a panhard rod and get the rear end re-aligned, this is rule #1 when lowering starlets

That still wont fix the issue without a panhard rod.

I imagine they are rubbish shocks anywho, I wouldnt hold much hope for them!

can you send me the link for them coils want to do some research on it :) :)

you can order this for the rear bar !!!

https://www.tyagiracing.com/products.php?product=5{47}8-UNF-Turnbuckle-Adjuster-Kit

then when it arives go with it to ur local metal shop and buy round bar that slides over it tight then cut off the 2 bushes from the starlet penhard rod and weld it back toghether

it works perfect

does anyone of you have a sample photo with Penhard Rod install? i cant really imaging how is it.
i try google, cant find ep82 photos with penhard rod with it.

Colin, from my guess, you are asking me to turn the original stock penhard rod to adjustable after weld . lock it tight when install. is that what you mean?

yes alex you only use the 2 bushes from your oem bar the midel section you make new it will cost 25/30euros in total for the adjuster and the bar if you have welder !!!

you get long piece of timber and bolt the oem bar to the timber so you have reference points :) :) then start chopping and wielding
aftermarket is 150e to 200e for adjuster bar
